In a move that will have many asking, “Why haven’t they tried this before?” Republicans are introducing a bill that will encourage gun safety.
The bill will incentivize Americans to receive gun training and encourage them to purchase gun safety and storage equipment.
The goal is to allow Americans to safely exercise their gun rights, rather than deprive them of the ability to purchase and own firearms.
In short, the bill will offer tax deductions for Americans who enroll in firearm courses or buy gun safes.
The bill also bans the left’s so-called national gun registry, by stating taxpayers do not have to “provide any information” to the government.
And government officials can only hold onto tax deduction information for three years.
This is the kind of clever, common-sense bill that all congressmen should embrace. The kind of bill past Republicans and Democrats would have compromised to pass.
But these days, Democrats are in no way interested in compromise. It’s either their way or the highway.
